Manchester United and Chelsea may reportedly ramp up their interest in Sami Khedira after the agents of the Real Madrid midfielder began touting their client around some of the most prominent clubs in Europe.
According to the Daily Express, the Germany international has already been offered to Paris Saint-Germain by his representatives, and Khedira is now likely to become a target for two Premier League giants.
Khedira's apparent desire to force a transfer away from Real Madrid could reportedly prompt Manchester United and Chelsea into action, as both David Moyes and Jose Mourinho look to bolster the respective squads before next month's deadline.
Chelsea have already been busy in the transfer market this summer and, although reinforcements in midfield may not be a pressing concern, Mourinho would seem open to the idea of linking up with a player who he valued highly in Madrid.
Manchester United, meanwhile, have endured a frustrating transfer window in their pursuit of a high-profile midfielder, and Khedira could be the player Moyes manages to capture having missed out on a number of other targets.
The 26-year-old may not possess the creative talents of his Real Madrid teammate Mesut Ozil or Cesc Fabregas of Barcelona - both targets for the Red Devils - but Khedira has undoubted quality, and would be a high-class acquisition for Moyes.
