Cristiano Ronaldo is in no hurry to sign a new deal with Real Madrid, however the Portuguese star has admitted that he is happy at the Bernabeu.
Ronaldo, who has been linked with a return to former club Manchester United this summer, has just under two years left on his contract and has yet to sign a long-term deal with the club.
However, the Spanish outfit believe the former World Player of the Year will stay in Madrid and expect to see him stay on at the Bernabeu for the rest of his career.
On his future, the 28-year-old told AS: "I've more years to come. The contract renewal isn't something that I'm worried about now.
"These things happen naturally and sooner or later they will become clear. This situation doesn't worry me. Things are going well. I'm happy and it's not the end of the world."
Ronaldo and Real Madrid begin their league season this sunday when they host Real Betis and, under new boss Carlo Ancelotti, Real will hope to reclaim the La Liga title in 2013/14.
They will have to stop rivals Barcelona, who will again be favourites to keep their title this season.
