Sergio Aguero: Fantasy Football must have
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is guaranteed to rack up a big score this season
Many Fantasy Football fans across England will be scratching their heads right now, trying to decide who will fit into their team for the new season, and which players offer the most points as the start of the season is fast approaching.
The Premier League Fantasy Football website has many fans who come back year after year to play the exciting and thrilling fantasy league game.
This season, surprisingly, only 7% of players have selected Manchester City's striker Sergio Aguero for their squad, as compared to the 21.4% of players who have selected Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku, and last season's Golden Boot winner Robin van Persie, who has been chosen by 43.1% of fans this campaign.
We may have seen Pellegrini strengthen his strike force with the signings of Alvaro Negredo from Sevilla, and Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic, but the Argentine will almost certainly be City's main man once again for the forthcoming season.
Over the last two seasons, Aguero has scored 35 Premier League goals in 64 matches, a ratio of more than 2:1 - proving he is a quality finisher in the English game.
Aguero is valued at £11m by Premier League Fantasy Football, quite a hefty price, but for a player who has achieved 332 points since his transfer to Manchester City, he will prove to be a successful purchase for anybody who wishes to select him - and can almost guarantee you over 150 points throughout the season, a sum which could ultimately help to beat your friends.
With the likes of Jesus Navas, David Silva, Samir Nasri and Yaya Toure, Aguero will surely help himself to many a chance this season, as he hopes to surpass the 12 Premier League goals he scored last season.
If the Argentine can stay injury-free for the coming season, he has the quality to challenge the likes of Robin van Persie and Luis Suarez for the Golden Boot award.
