AS Monaco's Ligue 1 dream has prematurely run into trouble as their star signing of the summer Radamel Falcao has been reintroduced into the transfer market by his agent Jorge Mendes.

According to Spanish publication Marca, super agent Mendes has offered the Colombian striker to several clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City in a shocking development that is bound to grab the attentions of the football world.

Monaco's trouble stems from the tax laws prelevant in tax haven Monte Carlo. The club was of the view that since it is based in the principality, it will be able to offer it's players massive tax-free salaries, giving it an unfair advantage over rest of the 19 clubs in the league.

However, Ligue 1 plans to force the club’s players to pay the top tax rate of 75% like the rest of France. Club owner Dmitry Rybolovlev and the president of the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), Frederic Thiriez have been at loggerheads for much of the summer regarding the matter and it now appears Rybolovlev would have to cough up a €100 million fine along with the burden of paying the extra tax of the players signed by the club this summer.

This latest development along with the fact that the newly promoted side currently has 36 players under contract has led to much instabilty in the club. As such, it appears Monaco are preparing a mass exodus of all it's newly signed players with mega salary deals.

Falcao, Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez are all expected to leave the club they joined only this summer. Argentine youngster Lucas Ocampos who had joined the club last summer is also expected to depart for another club.

27-year-old Falcao is the most high-profile and coveted among the lot and was signed by the club for a fee of around €60 million and his departure is sure to cause a lot of embarrassment for both Monaco and Rybolovlev.
