Former Wales international Ryan Giggs has expressed his belief that Swansea can continue to improve, and push their way further up the league table.
Giggs, who won 64 caps for his country, has played - and scored - in every Premier League season to date.
And now he thinks that the Swans have the ability to solidify their status in the top flight.
Under the tutelage of Brian Laudrup, the South Wales side improved two places on their debut season back in the big time, by finishing in ninth.
The season was also memorable for their 5-0 League Cup victory over Bradford City. But Giggs told BBC Sport Wales that things can get even better for the club in the near future.
"They can do better than ninth. I've been impressed with Swansea," explained the 39-year-old.
"It's always hard for teams that come up and the first thing is survival and then stabilise the club.
"You've seen that over the years. The likes of Stoke have done really well in the Premier League a number years now and Swansea look the same sort of team where they're a really stable club."
With Europa League contention to juggle as well, it will be a strenuous season ahead. However, if the winger is to be believed, then Swansea will have nothing to worry about.
