Ronaldinho embarrasses legends with silky skills

Ronaldinho has fallen out of the spotlight since moving back to his native Brazil in 2011 but a new video has served to remind us just how special he was.

The five minute compilation shows the former World Player of the Year making mincemeat of some of the great players of today.

No one was safe from humiliation when Ronaldinho was on the prowl, as the video proves, with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes and Andrea Pirlo all being floored by the bucked-toothed Brazilian.

After a successful spell in Europe, in which he won a number of honours whilst at Barcelona, the 33-year-old moved to Flamengo to wind down on a successful career.

However, after cancelling his contract with Flamengo, claiming lack of payment as the reason, it looked like his glittering career would end on a sour note.

But Atlético Mineiro provided the platform for Ronaldinho to re-find something like his best form as he inspired the Brazilian club to their first Copa Libertadores win last season.

A reintroduction to the national set-up has also been on the cards since Luiz Felipe Scolari returned to the helm. He was named as captain for a friendly against Chile earlier this year but was not selected for the Confederations Cup squad.
