Sunday's game against Tottenham was actually the first time I have watched a Premier League game live at a stadium.

I was out of the game due to a hamstring injury but I hopefully wont be out for too long.

I was actually in the dressing-room before the game with my newborn son to try and give the boys a little bit more enthusiasm.

I was glad he was able to experience his first game at Selhurst Park.

I thought the boys did well. Our left-back Dean Moxey was extremely unlucky with the penalty.

It is a shame to come out with a loss in the end but we should be pleased with our display. We just need to believe in ourselves a little bit more.

All my teammates put in a good shift. Kevin Phillips came on and made a couple of sharp runs, Mile Jedinak was brilliant and Jonathan Williams added a bit of pace to the team when he was brought on. I thought everyone else was solid.

Marouane Chamakh looked good on the wing - especially when he went past a couple of players. Seeing him do that gives me confidence for when I come back.

I haven't seen much of the new boys in training due to my injury - as I have just been getting treatment and then going home to rest.

I will be back playing in around three weeks and I will hopefully come back firing.
