Roma are ready to step up their interest in Manchester United star Nani after selling Pablo Osvaldo to Southampton.
The Daily Star have reported that the funds gained from the selling of Osvaldo will be used on the Red Devils ace.
The Serie A club sold the Italian forward for £15 million to the Saints, who rejoins Mauricio Pochettino after the star played under him at Espanyol.
And, now Rudi Garcia, the coach of Roma, is preparing a bid for the 26-year-old, whose Old Trafford future remains uncertain after the arrival of Wilfried Zaha.
Nani joined United from Sporting Lisbon in 2007, but struggled for form and playing time last season and could now be heading out of the Old Trafford exit door.
David Moyes is understood to be willing to listen to offers for the Portuguese ace and Nani could join former Premier League rival Gervinho at the Italian outfit this summer.
