John "Bradshaw" Layfield has often described Alberto Del Rio as Mexico's greatest export. He is certainly a talented superstar who knows how to win tough matches. But is the opportunistic 'heel' the WWE's most dangerous superstar?
In three years, Alberto Del Rio has managed to achieve great things as a WWE superstar. In 2011, he won the first ever 40-man Royal Rumble. He went and beat seven other men to the Money in the Bank briefcase and became a two-time WWE champion. Very few people realise that he achieved all of this in one year.
One of Alberto Del Rio's most impressive moments was when he managed to defeat CM Punk and WWE stalwart John Cena in a triple-threat 'hell in a cell' match to win his second WWE Championship.
Since defeating Rey Mysterio on his debut in 2010, Del Rio has shown ruthless aggression and mind-blowing agility to weaken opponents before finishing them off with a lethal kick to the head or an excruciatingly painful 'cross armbreaker'. Despite all of his achievements and his deadly wrestling-style, many WWE fans still underrate Del Rio
A few weeks ago, he delivered one of the most brutal beatings in WWE history. Only a few weeks after his return from a concussion, Dolph Ziggler was on the receiving end of several powerful kicks to the head issued by Del Rio. This merciless performance helped ADR to regain the World Heavyweight Championship.
As the new face of WWE Smackdown, Del Rio has continued to sweep aside opponents such as Rob Van Dam, Kofi Kingston and Ziggler. His numerous achievements have not been down to luck, but down to his determination to be the best, his ability to see opportunities and know what to do with them and his natural-born talent.
Alberto Del Rio's rise to the top of the WWE has been quick and aggressive. He may be the baddest man in the WWE at the moment, and the most arrogant man too, but he has certainly proven that he is worthy of being such an arrogant superstar.
Del Rio certainly understands what it takes to win matches. He studies opponents and finds their weaknesses and that's what makes him such a dangerous superstar. All of these factors have made Del Rio the most dangerous superstar in the WWE.
