Swansea striker Michu says Robin van Persie is the best striker in the world on current form.
The Dutchman got his season up and running with a bang as he bagged a brace to help David Moyes start his time as Manchester United boss with a 4-1 win against Swansea.
Van Persie claimed the Golden Boot last season as the Red Devils reclaimed their Premier League crown.
"He had two chances and he scored two goals, but that is why Manchester United are fighting for the championship," said the Swansea hit man.
"For me, to be honest, he is the best striker in the world. He had no clear chances in this game and it is just incredible how he ended up with two goals. It stops with him, he is the best.
"I don't know how many goals he will score this season. A hundred, maybe a thousand! One thing is for sure, he is going to score a lot."
In an ironic twist of events, according to reports today Arsenal are lining up a move for Michu as they finally look to replace Van Persie who left last summer.
