Burak Yilmaz is one of the best strikers in the world. Last season, he scored 34 goals for Galatasaray and now, after impressing not only in domestic competition but also in the Champions League, top European teams are after him. But where will be his preferred destination?
Chelsea - After pretty much failing with their Wayne Rooney bid, Chelsea are still looking to improve their options up front. Names such as Samuel Eto'o and Jackson Martinez have been linked with Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal - Arsenal lost 3-1 to Aston Villa on the opening day and have lost targets such as Gonzalo Higuain, Stevan Jovetic, Bernard, Luis Gustavo (to Wolfsburg) and more. Arsenal again claimed at the start of the summer that they will finally spend big but have so far only signed Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer.
Arsenal will have to hurry up and offer big money in order to land Turkey international Yilmaz as Arsenal are no longer a desirable club for such hot properties.
AS Roma - The media are already claiming that Yilmaz is on his way to Roma after agreeing personal terms with the Serie A club. Roma, who sold Pablo Osvaldo earlier this week to Southampton, are still looking to make their squad better than last season and achieve European football for next season. Could Yilmaz help give it to them?
