The big news of the day is in and if it's true it could be the biggest of all time. A very reliable source says that Gareth Bale is on his way to Spain to join the Real Madrid.
The Welshman is all set to leave Spurs after a long summer in which he tried all he could for a transfer including missing the training sessions . A journalist has reported that Bale is on his way.
Gianluca Di Marzio ; an Italian Sky Sports news reporter and a reliable source has tweeted on his twitter account @dimarzio : "#bale al @realmadrid per 93€, siamo ai dettagli. #calciomercato"
@dimarzio : "Gareth #Bale very close to @realmadrid: deal with @SpursOfficial for €93. And #Coentrao probably will join spurs. #footballtransfers" .
He further tweeted on the site that "Bale-Real Madrid 93 million pounds , not euro."
The transfer saga of Gareth Bale has been ongoing since last season ended and is still continuing. But this is the first time that such an open statement has been made by a very reliable source.
Interestingly, Carlo Ancelotti, the Real Madrid manager follows the journalist on his twitter account too. This tells how much of a reliable source Gianluca Di Marzio is.
Fabio Coentrao has been included in the exchange deal for Bale alongside a world record transfer fee of £93 Million . The stage is all set for the Welshman to leave.
Spurs appear to have already started spending the cash from the Bale deal, with the north London club believed to be on the verge of landing Anzhi Makhachkala's Willian. A deal for Roma's Eric Lamela could also be in the works.
More Real Madrid players could ask for a transfer since likes of Di Maria and Khedira consider their position under threat.
This transfer window could get even more interesting now. Wait and Watch.
