Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to spend £65 million on four players in a late scramble for transfers this summer, according to Starsport.
The Gunners boss saw his side beaten on the opening day of the Premier League season, as they lost 3-1 to Aston Villa at the Emirates.
And, after the dismal defeat, fans showed their discontent with the lack of spending at the north London outfit.
However, now, Wenger has set his sights on four new players to boost his squad - which could add up to £65m.
Wenger will look to current Premier League players to improve his side, with the likes of Swansea City duo Michu and Ashely Williams being targeted and Manchester City's Micah Richards on the north London club's radar.
The other player wanted by Wenger is Newcastle's Yohan Cabaye, and the Emirates outfit have already seen an offer turned down for the Frenchman.
The Gunners begin their Champions League campaign tomorrow night against Fenerbahce and will be hoping to bring a positive result back to the Emirates for the second leg.
