Liverpool are tracking Dutch wonderkid Richairo Zivkovic and have been watching him for some time.
That is according to the director of his club at Groningen, who has claimed that a whole raft of top club, not only Liverpool, have been watching the 16-year-old with a view to signing him.
“All the top clubs in Holland want him but Liverpool are here every week too. They are watching him closely and very keen,” Hans Nijland is quoted as saying by the Mirror.
Zivkovic has featured in all three of Groningen’s Eredivisie matches this season, scoring two goals and becoming the club’s youngest ever goalscorer, beating the record set by Arjen Robben.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has indicated he is ready to bring in more signings before the transfer window closes, though Zivkovic would be a signing with the future in mind rather than Champions League qualification for next season.
The Anfield boss has brought in a number of signings already this summer, with the likes of Iago Aspas, Luis Alberto, Kolo Toure and Simon Mignolet.
