FIFA 14 have announced a new 'football legends' feature as part of the Ultimate Team mode in the game.
Electronic Arts have delivered what many fans have been asking for, but PS3 gamers will have to wait a little longer as this release is an exclusive to Xbox - both the 360 and next gen One console when it's released.
The beauty of the new legends feature is that you can sprinkle your team with some stars of the past, creating the possibility of pairing Lionel Messi together with Gianfranco Zola, or maybe Dennis Bergkamp with Pele on FIFA 14.
Lothar Matthaus was on-hand to help with the announcement during EA's press conference at Gamescom in Cologne, and the German is another big-name that you can hope to get when you buy a Gold Pack.
Premier League fans certainly haven't been short-changed either, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur all covered.
For the Red Devils, full-back Gary Neville is one of the surprise inclusions in a list of 40 names, and Teddy Sheringham is also a little left-field.
However, Old Trafford heroes Ruud van Nistelrooy and Edwin Van der Sar are worth their place, and Michael Owen is another option if you get lucky with your pack.
Henrik Larsson was also popular at United during his brief spell with the club under Sir Alex Ferguson, and is another player available.
The Gunners are also well treated in this legends announcement, with plenty of players to help the fans remember their glory days under Arsene Wenger at Highbury.
David Seaman could well be your new goalkeeper, with Sol Campbell at the back, Patrick Vieira in the heart of the team and Dennis Bergkamp up-front.
What Wenger wouldn't give to have those four on the field at the Emirates Stadium now, with Jens Lehman, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungbery thrown in for good measure as well.
Gianfranco Zola leads the Blues charge on the game, with Marcel Desailly and Ruud Gullit also available for fans of the club.
And, whilst Andriy Shevchenko wasn't at his best at Stamford Bridge, you can be sure that his stats will be pretty tasty in this legends mode.
For Spurs fans, Campbell and Sheringham have already been mentioned, and there is also England hero Gary Lineker available as well.
The striker might be better known for presenting Match of the Day, but in his day the player was a predator in the box at White Hart Lane and a number of other grounds.
Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is also included, whilst Patrick Kluivert is the other former Premier League player to be included.
Away from England, and Paolo Maldini, Rui Costa and George Weah are just some of the other big names you can look out for when the legends are introduced to FIFA 14 Ultimate Team gold packs.
