Highly rated 22-year-old Alan Santos has confirmed that Spanish giants Real Madrid have made an offer to sign him.
The Santos midfielder, who recently broke through in the Brazilian side's first-team, is reportedly considering the move that would initially be on loan with the view to a permanent deal.
The Brazilian had revealed that Real scouts have been monitoring his progress: "After the Barcelona match they made an offer for me.
"They watched me in three games in a row when I played as a starter against Portuguesa, Coritiba and Crac."
The defensive midfielder is thrilled to be spotted and says its a dream move for him.
"I am very happy, I am a reserve player and Real Madrid are interested in me. "It's of course a dream, but it's in God's hands. If I have to go now, I will. If not, I can go later," he added.
The news comes on the same day that the Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that midfielder Xabi Alsono had broken his foot while taking part in training - ruling him out for up to three months.
The setback means Ancelotti will be needing a new midfielder to fill the void and the Italian is keen to agree a deal for Santos.
Meanwhile, Madrid's pursuit of Tottenham's Gareth Bale may have turned a corner as the clubs have reportedly agreed a £93million plus Fabio Coentrao deal for the Welshman.
