Norwich City have completed the signing of Galatasaray striker Johan Elmander on a season-long loan deal.
32-year-old Elmander, who has won 71 caps for his native Sweden, has previous experience in the Premier League after spending three years with Bolton Wanderers between 2008-11.
"I'm very happy - I'm really looking forward to starting training with the lads and to playing some games also," Elmander told the club's official website after the deal was confirmed.
"I know Norwich City has great fans and there's a great atmosphere in the stadium, plus I know a couple of players here already too.
"I'm very glad that the deal has been done and now I'm looking forward to the season ahead."
Elmander is the latest signing in a busy summer for manager Chris Hughton, who has wowed fans at Carrow Road with the respective captures of former Celtic striker Gary Hooper, Dutch goalscorer Ricky van Wolfswinkel and FC Twente playmaker Leroy Fer.
The Canaries opened their 2013/14 Premier League campaign with a 2-2 draw against Everton on Saturday and their next fixture sees them travel to newly promoted Hull City this weekend.
