Football lovers up and down the country rejoiced last weekend as the 2013/14 Premier League campaign finally got underway. Following the traditional trials and tribulations of pre-season, now is the time that all 20 top-flight managers should be building a much clearer picture of how their squads are set to shape up for the gruelling nine months ahead.

Inevitably, the finalising of plans ahead of the close of the summer transfer window on September 2 will lead to a number of players packing their bags and moving elsewhere. In particular, a number of talented youngsters who may be on the fringes of the action at their parent clubs will be eager to boost their chances of first-team experience by securing loan moves.
