I'm willing to bet not many people have heard of either Chornomorets Odessa or Skenderbeu, but both clubs were involved in a Europa League qualifier last night that was lit up by Olexiy Gai's sumptuous volley.
With 75 minutes gone of a particularly drab affair and the score locked at 0-0, Gai peeled away from his defender as a ball was floated over to him from midfield.
The midfielder steadied himself before firing an unstoppable volley into the far top corner, leaving the Skenderbeu 'keeper statuesque in the opposition goal and give his side the advantage going into the second leg.
The Ukrainian is a new signing at the club having signed from Shakhtar Donetsk following seven years with the reigning league champions and has accumulated 29 caps for the national side, scoring one goal.
However, he will be doing well to ever score one better than this belter.
