After two months of endless speculation regarding the future of Gareth Bale it finally looks the deal could be close to completion.
The biggest Spanish news source, Marca has claimed that Bale to Madrid could be completed this weekend.
Madrid main newspaper announced that a €90million deal to bring Bale from Tottenham had finally been completed. Report said that it was just a question of hours before the Welshman becomes a part of the Los Blancos.
The Welshman is expected to earn around €10million a year at Real Madrid. This deal will put the winger on a higher salary than the likes of Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil and Iker Casillas. However his pay will be less than Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fabio Coentro will not be included in the deal since Daniel Levy wants a cash deal. The cash will be paid in instalments.
Bale will wear the number 11 jersey for Madrid. Last night, the Real Madrid website was selling the number 11 kit with Bale's name on it , which was a sign that the deal is already done and it is just a matter of time until it is officially announced.
Tottenham - while preparing for life after Bale - are expecting to sign Erik Lamela from Roma. Reports suggest the deal will be announced as soon as Bale departs the club. Bale's unveiling will take place next week.
The Bale deal could certainly lead to discontent among the senior players of the team regarding Bale's potential salary at the club.
