Fulham boss Martin Jol is exploring the possibility of adding further signings to his squad before the transfer deadline on September 2nd.
The Dutchman has so far bolstered his squad with seven new faces and admits that there could even be more action after the club's home match with Arsenal on Saturday.
Jol said: "You don't know what will happen because we have still got 10 days to go, and maybe we are one or two players short."
The West Londoners go into their match with Arsenal this Saturday full of confidence after an opening day victory against Sunderland and with the possibility of their newest captures Scott Parker and Darren Bent featuring, the manager is in confident mood.
"Scott is the perfect player for most of the managers in the Premier League.
"He is English, is a leader, can play on the ball, can play off the ball, and he makes interceptions, so I think it is fantastic to have him on board," he said.
Fulham's opponents Arsenal come to Craven Cottage off the back of a convincing victory in their Champions League play-off first leg at Fenerbahce and are looking to open their league account after an opening day defeat to Aston Villa.
The Fulham manager said: "I played in Turkey a couple of times and it is almost impossible to have a win over there and they did, quite convincingly.
"There is not a fear factor in our team about Arsenal, but you have to respect their qualities and try to play your own style."
