Who will be the best? Here are my top three strike partnernships for the season, let me know what you think by commenting below!
Edison Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, PSG
The big spenders PSG have shown their money by purchasing Cavani for a reported £53 million. Cavani and Ibrahimovic are very strong strikers with great pace and ability and they both will be too hot to handle if they work well together this season. They are good enough to be proclaimed the world's best front pairing if they both hit form.
Welbeck and Van Persie , Manchester United
Van Persie had an outstanding debut season at United notching a total of 26 goals for the club. He will only get better and with the talented Danny Welbeck alongside him, things are looking promising for United in that department.
Welbeck has already equaled his goal haul for the whole of last season with his double on the opening weekend against Swansea and is brimming with confidence.
Edin Dzeko and Aguero, Manchester City
The Citizens have spent nearly 90 million this summer and the money spent indicates that they want to recapture the Premier League title.
Aguero was the key to Manchester City's title-winning success in 2011/2012, so City will hope he is able to recapture that form after suffering with injuries and form last season.
Dzeko was City's top scorer last season with 14 goals despite appearing off the bench for most of it, so he will hope to cement a regular first-team spot and form a formidable partnership with Aguero.
Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo have joined the squad which will surely help them in their chase.
Messi and Neymar , FC Barcelona
The Catalans spent a reported £57 million euros on the highly-rated Brazilian Neymar to put some pressure on the shoulders of Messi
The Brazilian has said he will enjoy working with his idle and hopes to learn from him. There's no doubt that Messi and Neymar will be a nightmare for any defence and will produce lots of goals together.
