Chelsea predicted XI v Manchester United

In their first two Barclays Premier League games, Jose Mourinho has so far, started two of his three main strikers, in the lone striker role, namely Demba Ba, and Fernando Torres.

Mourinho has only made one other change in his team from the one that started against Hull City, and the one that featured against Aston Villa on Wednesday, and that was the choice to start Juan Mata ahead of Kevin de Bruyne.

Obviously, the match against Manchester United is one of the highlight matches in the Premier League season, and serves as a fantastic advertisement for the Barclays Premier League, all around the world.

So early into the season, it is unlikely that Mourinho will have decided his best eleven for the year ahead, and will continue to make alterations to his squad, until he feels that he has the best possible team.

In such a high profile match, it is likely that both David Moyes, and Mourinho will make changes to their squads. Here is how I think Chelsea will line up at Old Trafford:

Chelsea starting XI: Cech; Cole, Terry (c), Cahill, Ivanovic; Lampard, Ramires; Hazard, Mata, De Bruyne; Torres.

Despite Oscar's brilliant early season form, I believe that Mourinho will favour Kevin De Bruyne's far more direct and attacking approach as the wide midfield player, rather than Oscar's inside playmaking role.

So far, Ivanovic has started both of Chelsea's games in the right back position, ahead of Cesar Azpilicueta, and it seems unlikely that Jose will change this, ahead of such an important game.

As a Chelsea fan, I would always want Juan Mata to play for Chelsea, as he is arguably our best player, and I believe that Mourinho will play him in his favoured number 10 role behind the striker, like he did with Mesut Ozil, at Real Madrid.

I believe that Fernando Torres will get the nod to start the game as the main striker ahead of Romelu Lukaku and Demba Ba, simply because of his intense rivalry, and experience of big clashes against Manchester United, that stems back to his past matches as a Liverpool player.

Do you agree, or do you think that Jose will make bigger changes ahead of this match? Have your say below!
