Ligue 1 champions PSG have made a €40milion offer for Barcelona winger Pedro Rodriguez, according to Spanish website Marca.
The Catalan star has three years remaining on his current deal at the Nou Camp, but it hasn't stopped the French giants from officially stating their intent to acquire his services.
Reports suggest that the proposal was immediately rebuffed by both Barcelona and Pedro, with the Spanish champions keen to keep hold of the player who is a fine product of their academy.
And despite facing stiff competition from the likes of Neymar, Alexis Sanchez, Cesc Fabregas and Cristian Tello for a starting place, Pedro wants to remain at the club.
According to Marca, Pedro was grateful for the interest shown in him, but immediately moved to play down talk of a transfer.
"I am only thinking about succeeding in Barcelona, but it is a point of pride that other clubs have taken notice," the 26-year-old said.
Pedro, who has been capped 31 times for Spain, is believed to be a primary target for PSG, as they look to provide more service to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani.
