Wes Hoolahan

The Republic Of Ireland international has come on leaps and bounds during his time at Norwich, who he joined in 2008. Hoolahan has become an influential player in the current Norwich City side and some suggest has is the driving force behind Norwich's stability in the Premier League.

Ryan Shawcross

With Shawcross managing to score in Stoke's 2-1 over Crystal Palace this weekend, the England international seems to be in for a very promising season. In recent transfer windows Shawcross has been linked with moves to the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United according to the Daily Mail.

Shawcross' main assets remain with his strong tackling and dominance in defense. Aged 25 years old Shawcross could really be putting together an impressive season that may see him thrust-ed into the England set up with only just one England cap currently to his name.

Mousa Dembele

The Belgian international has many attributes within his game. At the age of 26, Dembele is able to thread a ball within the eye of a needle whilst also being able to take on players with a burst of acceleration.

Although the box to box midfielder may not be prolific in the department of scoring goals, it is his ability of turning attack into defense so quickly and seamlessly that has made Tottenham a great counter attacking side.

Leon Osman

Despite being aged 31 and with time slowly caching up to him, the England international one of the most reliable performers in the Premier League.

Making his international debut at the age of 31 in a friendly against Sweden, Osman has yet to really kick start his National career. Yet with consistent displays in the Everton shirt it may see him play a role in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.

Michael Carrick

Despite Robin Van Persie dominating the headlines, former Tottenham man Michael Carrick was of the the best central midfielders in the premier League.

Carrick has found himself on the periphery at times at club level and international level yet the 31 year old has managed to produce stellar performances which has bought him back into the England set up through Roy Hodgson and a first team regular at club level.
