The Premier League is a very tough league; fact.

Many strikers have failed to impress in England's top flight, despite being proven goal-scorers in other divisions, purely down to the fact that they are not strong enough.

In the modern game, teams are relying more and more on the dazzling, nippy feet of forwards tailor made to work their way through the opposition back lines, rather than those that bulldoze a path to goal with their stature and size.

That's not to say those type of strikers don't exist anymore. The likes of Didier Drogba and Emmanuel Adebayor, Kenwyne Jones and Grant Holt have all faired well in recent seasons, through their ability to trade blows in terms of physical strength, with daunting centre-halfs.

Here we list five of the Premier League's current best when it comes to making their presence known, and scoring goals whilst they're at it.
