Gareth Bale has decided to miss training today and is frustrated with how Tottenham are handling his proposed transfer to Real Madrid.
Bale was supposed to join up with his teammates at the club's training ground but he did not turn up and is becoming increasingly frustrated with the ongoing transfer saga.
There is only six days until the transfer window slams shut and it seems that the Welsh international is now losing patience.
This incredible transfer saga took another surprise twist over the bank holiday, as reports said that a club other than Real Madrid have also made a bid for him.
English champions Manchester United have been linked with the Welshman over the summer but whilst David Moyes refused to deny any interest in Bale, he said the club haven't made a bid for him.
The United manager, speaking after their 0-0 stalemate with Chelsea, told Sky Sports: "I said at the start that Manchester United will always be interested in the best players and we'll always be looking to try and improve the team."
"The owners have given me every opportunity to get who I want so we'll continue to look for those players. It's been tough in this window but we're always looking at the best players."
United are yet to make a significant move in the transfer market this summer so Moyes must be weighing up his options before the transfer window closes next week and Gareth Bale may be one of them.
The question is, however, will United be able to stump up the world record £85 million price tag that Spurs have put on him? And even then, would Bale want to move to Manchester United instead of making his dream move to Real Madrid?
With less than a week to go until the transfer window shuts, this incredible transfer saga is nearly over but there could still be more twists and turns before September 2.
