Wayne Rooney has no intention of handing in a transfer request at Manchester United, according to reports.

The news comes after Jose Mourinho said that if Rooney wants to join Chelsea he must make the move happen in the next 48 hours.

Erik Lamela is on his way to London to undergo a medical with Tottenham according to the Evening Standard.

The Argentinian is on the verge of completing a €30 million move to White Hart Lane as the man he is line to replace Gareth Bale, failed to report for training this morning.

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Karim Benzema from Real Madrid according to the Mirror.
