Florent Malouda might have become Chelsea's forgotten man during his final season with the Blues, but he is far from finished as a top footballer.
The Frenchman signed for Turkish side Trabzonspor this summer on a free transfer and marked his debut in style last night with a thunderbolt from the edge of the area.
During six trophy-laden years at Stamford Bridge, Malouda was once considered one of the most deadly wide-men on the planet, and was a prominent figure during Chelsea's last Premier League title win in 2009/10.
Despite this, Malouda fell out of favour at the club prior to the 2012/13 season and didn't make a first-team appearance as he was forced to watch from the sidelines and train with the under-21 team instead.
The video above shows that Malouda still has something to offer, and he will become a fan favourite very quickly in Turkey, if he continues to deliver strikes of this calibre.
