Juan Mata's Chelsea future is certainly in doubt, despite assurances from Jose Mourinho that the Spaniard will remain at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Before the start of the season, reports had suggested that Mourinho did not see the 25-year-old as part of his plans.

And, after missing out on the Blues' first game of the season at home to Hull, Mata only found himself on the bench against Manchester United last night.

More frustratingly for the playmaker was that, despite the game crying out for a creative midfielder, he was not given anytime on the pitch.

Mourinho, instead, opted for Fernando Torres, Cesar Azpilicueta and John Obi Mikel as he gained a very good point at Old Trafford.

However, the snubbing of Mata was a big talking point and here's a look at where he could end up if he leaves the Bridge.
