Over the past two months both in pre-season and competitive matches, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been in exceptional form.
He bagged himself three goals over the two legs in the Champions League qualifier against Fenerbahçe which helped the Gunners win 5-0 on aggregate.
Although he picked up a knock late on, Arsenal fans are hoping to keep Ramsey fit and available for every game as Mikel Arteta recovers.
Arsenal's next opponents are their arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham have been extremely busy this transfer window with their total money spent adding up to more than £90million which strongly suggest their star man, Gareth Bale is on his way to the Bernabeu.
Unlike Arsenal who are yet to spend a penny; there only signing has been France U21 starlet Yaya Sanogo on a free transfer.
Arsenal fans showed their frustration at the match against Aston Villa due to the club not signing anyone yet. Ramsey, after the Fenerbahçe game, said: "It wasn't the ideal start to the Premiership but we bounced back tonight, we played really well as a team.
"We've been under a lot of criticism of late but it was vital that we stayed switched on and got a great result here, which we did."
Ramsey along with the whole of the Arsenal fan base hope to sign big names in order to have a chance of reliving the much missed glory days and unbeaten runs.
In order to keep their young talents the Gunners surely have to spend big and quickly whilst the transfer window is still active.
To keep their players they will have to achieve success otherwise there could be incidents like the Robin van Persie saga which resulted in Arsenal selling the player of the season to their old enemies Manchester United where Van Persie won his first Premier League title.
Ramsey has been in the best form of his career and he joins Jack Wishere, Carl Jenkinson, Theo Walcott, Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the British core and future of Arsenal Football Club.
Arsenal need to act now by signing the players, winning the trophies and becoming great once again.
