With only five days of the summer transfer market remaining, new Manchester United boss David Moyes is yet to add any big name players to his squad.
Just last week the Scotsman publicly admitted that he may not make any additions to his side before the start of the new season.
United have unsurprisingly been linked with a huge amount of players already but have been unable to capture any of their targets up to yet.
The latest man to be linked with a move to Old Trafford is Chelsea star David Luiz.
The talented 26-year-old has performed well for the Blues in recent times, however Jose Mourinho is reportedly willing to let the defender leave.
Luiz has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona but the Catalan club are yet to make a move for him.
Now Manchester United, who were linked with Luiz while he was at Benfica, are ready to reignite their interest in an attempt to lure him away from the west London club.
Moyes is reportedly lining up a bid of around £30million which could be enough if Mourinho is to have the final say.
This transfer saga is still in the early stages however and therefore it is unlikely the Brazilian will leave Chelsea this summer.
