Gareth Bale has not turned up for training and is not intending to return to the Tottenham training ground again, according to reports.
Bale's failure to turn up for training for a second successive day gives the clearest indication yet that he feels his time at Tottenham has come to an end.
The Welshman is eager to take the call from Real Madrid to confirm a record €100M million deal. As it stands he is still a Tottenham player but it appears likely that his move to Real Madrid is imminent - something manager Andre Villas-Boas has now confirmed.
Spanish sources have told Sky Sports that hold up with Bale could be because Ronaldo is upset that the Tottenham ace will cost more than he did. In a bid not to upset Ronaldo a new deal may being negotiated.
Bale has been frustrated by the Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy's refusal to accept Madrid's offer of €100m (£86m), which stands to break the world record held by Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Real from United in 2009 for £80m.
Levy has also reportedly stalled the deal once and expressed his view of Real Madrid's buying ‘arrogance’ Tottenham have made it quite clear that they will only sell Bale to the Spanish giants on their terms but as of yet no transfer deal has been finalised.
