Ajax manager Frank de Boer has backed Christian Eriksen to join Tottenham, and is assured that his starlet will thrive there, according to the Metro.
The clubs have reportedly agreed a £10million transfer deal for Eriksen, after Spurs' boss Andre Villas-Boas made the 21-year-old a firm target in the wake of losing out to Chelsea with Willian.
Eriksen has agreed a five-year-deal at White Hart Lane, and will join the likes of Roberto Soldado, Nacer Chadli, Paulinho and Etienne Capoue in AVB's revolution.
Ajax boss De Boer is convinced his man has what it takes to cut it in English football, and is confident Eriksen's move will be one that sees him prosper.
"Eriksen will go and he can be a success at Spurs," De Boer said.
"But this is a huge loss for us. He is very important to the squad."
The Danish wonder kid could well be joined by two other imports if Tottenham get their way.
Deals for Roma's Erik Lamela and Steaua Bucharest's Vlad Chiriches are said to be close to conclusion, as Tottenham strive to soften the blow that will be caused should Gareth Bale leave for Madrid.
