John Ruddy

Football News

In the absence of Foster, Norwich 'keeper John Ruddy will be Hart's key rival ahead of the upcoming qualifiers. The 26-year-old impressed fans and pundits alike with his consistent performances that provided a strong base for the club's eventual 12th place finish last season.

He received his first-international call-up in May of last year, as Hodgson selected him to be a part of the travelling party for Euro 2012. Ruddy was not able to compete in the tournament, however, with a finger injury ruling him out for the summer.

He eventually made his England bow in August during the clash against Italy in Berne. So far, that is Ruddy's only international cap.
