It's less than four months since Bayern Munich were crowned European champions at Wembley, but the 2013/14 Champions League group stages are already upon us.
The draw takes place this afternoon in Monaco, and Europe's best strikers will already be dreaming about winning the prestigious top scorer award.
For the last six seasons the award has been won by either Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, who picked up the individual accolade last term after scoring a total of 12 goals.
In the four seasons prior to last season it was won by Barcelona's Messi, the reigning Ballon d'Or winner who once again will take some stopping.
So, will this be the seventh consecutive season that either Ronaldo or Messi win the award - or will another world-class striker take the honours?
Here are the five leading contenders.
