Gary & Phil - The Neville brothers

Coming through the Manchester United youth system at virtually the same time, the Neville's are one of the most recognisable and popular footballing brothers in Premier League existence.

Both were part of Sir Alex Ferguson's mid-90's youth-orientated 'famous fledglings' side along with Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes, these two full-backs both started in United's infamous 3-1 opening day defeat to Aston Villa in the 1995/6 season which promptly led to Alan Hansen famously saying: "You never win anything with kids".

The kids, Ferguson and United then went on to make Hansen eat his words that season as they overturned Newcastle's 10-point lead at Christmas to claim their third title in four years.

Despite older brother Gary always seeming to be the more highly-rated footballer and 'looker' of the two, Gary and Phil both enjoyed remarkable success at Old Trafford winning a host of Premier League and FA Cup trophies together and of course the unbelievable 1998/9 treble season and Champions League achievement.

Now both retired, both players have taken their talents to coaching and punditry.

Former United captain Gary has earned rave reviews for his punditry work for Sky Sports and as a coach for the England senior side while Phil, who retired professionally at the end of last season, has just taken a similar role on at Manchester United to assist his former Everton chief David Moyes as well as doing some media work with Match of the Day.

How long before we see these two on the sidelines together coaching at Wembley and Old Trafford or even debating and analysing incidents on Sky Sports?
