Top five: European 2nd leg comebacks (1)

Published 1 Comments

There was probably no more fun place to be on Wednesday night than Celtic Park in Glasgow, unless you are a Shahkter Karagandy supporter.

Celtic pulled off a dramatic second leg comeback to secure a place in the 2013/14 Champions League group stages, after falling to a 2-0 defeat in the first leg in Kazakhstan they secured the 3-0 victory they needed to book their place in the draw.

It was done in the most dramatic of fashions too, with James Forrest stroking home Anthony Stokes' pull back in the last minute before being mobbed by all his teammates and manager, as well as blowing the roof off the stadium.

It was an emotional night for all concerned and one of the most entertaining European second leg comebacks GMS has seen in Europe. However, we think we have seen five more dramatic in the past and have picked them out for you.
