Tottenham have been involved in plenty of transfer activity over the summer, but with the window drawing to a close, can they land the Brazilian right winger Hulk?
Hulk, who regularly starts for his national team, is currently plying his trade in Russia, with Zenit St Petersburg, after moving from Porto for £34 million last summer.
Having missed out on Willian to Chelsea, Tottenham will be adamant to make this deal happen. With Gareth Bale surely on the way out, Hulk could be a fantastic replacement.
With bags of pace, great power and a fantastic shot, Hulk will fit perfectly into the Premier League.
At only 5ft 9, Hulk is not especially tall, but that isn’t a problem as his upper body strength is one of his strong points. With the set fee at a reported £30 million, this could be a bargain.
Tottenham have serious claim to winning the Premier League this year if Hulk makes the move to north London, he will be following Roberto Soldado, Erik Lamela, Paulinho and Nacer Chadli to White Hart Lane.
With the aforementioned Erik Lamela on the left wing, Hulk on the right wing and Roberto Soldado up front this could be a title challenging attack.
Tottenham have been, in my opinion, the best Premier League team in the transfer window, haggling perfectly for Bale. They also got lucky by missing out Willian, with £30 million far too much for him.
To conclude, Tottenham should definitely try to sign Hulk, but if they don’t they will still be a major contender for the Premier League.
