Crystal Palace will be without Glen Murray until the start of the new year, whilst Jonathan Parr's full fitness could be a few more weeks away.

Short term injuries have hit Palace in this last week with Jerome Thomas picking up a knock against Lazio, which put him out for the start of the season. Jose Campana looks set to miss out too. Another blow for Palace is that Yannick Bolasie faces around a month out with a hamstring problem.

Looks like Palace will continue with their 4-2-3-1 formation which was used throughout last season. New signing Marouane Chamakh will expect to start up front with Dwight Gayle and Elliot Grandin playing in the wide positions. Stephen Dobbie is expected to take the central position.

It's possible we will see Jonathan Williams partnering Mile Jedniak, unless Ian Holloway decides to go for Garvan.

In defence it will be between Dean Moxey and Florian Marange as who takes the left back slot. It's likely that Palace will continue with the partnership of Danny Gabbidon and Delaney. Ward is expected to be right back with Julian Speroni in goal.
