Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't want Gareth Bale to join the club, according to talkSPORT.
The websites' Spanish football expert, Scott Minto, believes that the transfer will go through, but that Ronaldo is far from content with the prospect.
Bale's potential move to Los Blancos has still yet to be resolved, and has been undoubtedly the biggest transfer saga of the summer, but Minto is of the opinion that the deal is practically a foregone conclusion.
The website also explains that Ronaldo is far from happy with the idea of Bale taking his crown of the world's most expensive player.
“Ronaldo is not overly keen on Bale going to Madrid. And Carlo Ancelotti is starting to think he has a glut of attacking players and doesn’t necessarily need it.
“It’s a signing Florentino Perez wants to do and he wants to make it a world record fee, but Ronaldo doesn’t want that.
“So what we’re hearing is the first bid was €96m, a world record fee, but the second bid was €90m, which would not be a world record fee because Ronaldo wants to keep himself at number one. It’s all about keeping Ronaldo happy as well.
“But what I’m hearing is it’s all pretty much agreed and I’m pretty sure it will happen.”
There has been major speculation concerning the former Manchester United man's future happiness, should Bale trade White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu. Rumours of Ronaldo becoming unsettled are made all the more pertinent when it's considered that Bale could take the 28-year-old's favoured position on the left side.
