Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that Juan Mata is not for sale, despite on-going rumours.
The Spaniard has only made one appearance for the Blues this season and there have been doubts about his future at the club.
Mata who has won Blues "Player of the Year" award for the past two seasons, has not been a first team choice under new boss Jose Mourinho so far. With Chelsea signing big names this summer, it has looked as if the 25-year-old could be moving away from Stamford Bridge.
But Mourinho is adamant that the player will be staying at the club and has no interest in selling the player.
"It was my choice, leaving Mata out against Manchester United, and I have my reasons" said Mourinho.
"I always explain to my players the reasons for my current team selection. But it's not my job to inform the media about such matters"
"There are no problems between me and the player, he is a very important part of our squad and he is happy to stay and the club wants him to stay." Mourinho added.
