The Emirates Stadium hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Tottenham in recent seasons.
In their last two trips along the Seven Sisters road alone Spurs have shipped no less than 10 goals and had two players sent off.
However after a summer splurge Andre Villas-Boas and his side head into the first north London derby of the season in good spirits; something exacerbated by the fact Arsenal are yet to spend a penny with transfer window deadline day approaching.
In the last few hours Tottenham have announced they have signed defender Vlad Chiriches from Steaua Bucharest, with deals for Ajax's Christian Eriksen and Roma's Erik Lamela on the horizon.
The Gunners meanwhile, have only French youngster Yaya Sanogo and former midfielder Mathieu Flamini to show for their efforts in the transfer market.
But all the transfer tittle-tattle will be put to one side for 90 minutes at least on Sunday, and it will be 11 v 11 in one of the most fiercely-contested derbies in the Premier League.
