Mesut Ozil, Karim Benzema and Angel di Maria are all talented players who have been pushed aside by Real Madrid, with the imminent arrival of Gareth Bale.
Arsenal have been criticised about their lack of spending recently, with pressure piling on boss Arsene Wenger.
The Arsenal faithful were promised significant spending this summer, only Mathieu Flamini and Yaya Sanogo to have arrived, both on free transfers.
Real Madrid have all but signed Bale, Isco and other world class players, which leaves Ozil, Benzema and Di Maria way down the pecking order in the Spanish capital.
Arsenal have been linked with these three for a few days, and Wenger says he is keen to spend his £70 million budget on the trio.
Ozil has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but Arsenal are also interested. Their hopes of this signing the German international were boosted when the playmaker appeared to be unhappy at being substituted last week.
The north London derby is coming up on Sunday, and Tottenham staff have reportedly delayed the transfer of Bale so that Di Maria doesn't move to Arsenal ahead of the big game.
It would take at least £70 million to sign the trio, so will Wenger start spending? Do you think these are good potential signings, or do you have any better ideas? Leave your comments below...
