Rio Ferdinand: We'll do a job on Liverpool

Published Add your comment

Manchester united defender Rio Ferdinand says he can't wait to step out at Anfield on Sunday for the match against Liverpool and face the home fans "going crazy" at them.

David Moyes has experience of high-pressure games at Anfield, having managed Everton of so long, but the Merseyside derby is not quite the same as the clashes with Manchester United.

Ferdinand knows all about these games and in his most recent 'bubbly' post he describes the match as possibly the biggest game of the Old Trafford side's season.

The centre-back acknowledges that Liverpool have made a strong start to the Premier League season, winning both their games without conceding a goal, but he insisted the red Devils were confident ahead of the game.

Manchester United have made a good start to the season, according to Ferdinand, and he believes Moyes' side will go there and be able to "do a job" on the Merseysiders.
