After making many key signings in this busy transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of a possible perfect signing for them.

Eriksen is a young, talented player, with an exciting future ahead of him, his passing, finishing, trickery and acceleration make him one of the best young number 10’s in the world, and he may be the final piece in the transfer merry go round going on at White Hart Lane this summer.

As far as there squad goes, Tottenham pretty much have all bases covered, after gathering the signature of a lot of impressive players. Defensively they are doing well, with Jan Vertonghen and Michael Dawson being a strong partnership, with Kaboul being back from injury, and after gaining the signature of Vlad Chiriches they love covered.

Again up top they have a world class finisher in Roberto Soldado who was until today, their record signing, before snapping up Erik Lamela from Roma. After Soldado, they have Tottenham’s sixth ever highest goal scorer in Jermaine Defoe, who isn’t a bad second striker to have waiting in the
wings.

In Midfield is where the only issue arises. Holding midfielders they are fine for, having Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Sandro fit again, and Mousa Dembele who can also put in a defensive shift. On the wings they are strong two, even though close to losing Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, as Lamela and Nacer Chadli have been signed. However the only problem they have is in attacking midfield or more specifically a number 10.

That is where Eriksen fits the bill perfectly, as he is a brilliant young number ten who could really deliver that killer pass or shot to help Spurs win. Tottenham’s current attacking midfielders are Dembele,Sigurdsson and Holtby, although all are great players, none are number 10's.

Dembele is strong and holds up the ball, however he struggles with delivering the final product, something which Eriksen could rectify.

Sigurdsson lacks pace and willingness to make the run’s that number 10’s need to do, and he also takes shots from distance instead of making the play, two problems that Eriksen doesn’t have. Holtby doesn’t suffer from these problems and in a few years could be just as good as Eriksen, however he is not there yet.

So Christian Eriksen could well be the player to complete Tottenham’s squad, and help them really challenge for glory next season.
