Chelsea's official website has confirmed that attacking midfielder Victor Moses will leave the club on loan to fellow Premier League side Liverpool.
Moses, still at the young age of 22, still has time to develop and will be eager to show his worth to new manager Jose Mourinho. Chelsea signed the Nigerian international a year ago from last season's relegated side Wigan Athletic.
He made 27 starts and 16 as a substitute for the Blues over last season, which included invaluable European competition experience. Victor netted 10 goals for the London side; four of those goals coming in the club's successful Europa League campaign.
Moses has also played an important part on the international stage, helping Nigeria win the Africa Cup of Nations.
I'm sure Jose Mourinho will be keeping an eye on Moses throughout the season, as he is still a very young player full of potential. Liverpool are clearly a club aiming to win silverware this season and with former Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge helping Liverpool to the top of the Barclays Premier League with three wins out of three, Moses should have no problem settling in.
Will Brendan Rogers take him under his wing and develop him as a player or will he fail to impress and remain on the bench?
