Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond looks a great prospect for the future after scoring a fantastic solo goal to give Chris Hughton's side their first three points of the season on Sunday.
Redmond was the one shining light in England's dismal Under-21 European Championship campaign and the 19-year-old, who moved to Carrow Road this summer for £2 million from Birmingham City, looks an exciting talent.
"My mum told me from day one that if I play well on the pitch, then everything else will take care of itself," he said.
Redmond is included in the Under-21 squad to face Moldova on Thursday but looks like a future international for Roy Hodgson's side.
Canaries boss Hughton also remained cool after Redmond's winner in the 68th minute.
"As good as he was today, there will be days when he won't be as good - that's normal - but he is a very willing learner, and that gives him a chance," said the Norwich manager.
The young winger is highly regarded in English football and was instrumental in Norwich's 1-0 win over Southampton, scoring a fine solo goal.
