Spain are undoubtedly the most talented international football side on the planet. Here is a look at the best 11 players currently featuring in the Premier League:

David de Gea - Manchester United

De Gea is the only Spanish goalkeeper in the Premier League currently, with Pepe Reina on loan at Napoli. Taking control of the United goal after the departure of club legend Edwin Van der Sar, De Gea was signed for a fee of approximately £18.9 million.

Cesar Azpilicueta - Chelsea

Azpilicueta joined Chelsea last summer from Marseille and as injuries struck the Chelsea defence, Branislav Ivanovic was moved to centre-back and Azpilicueta was given his chance. With great speed going forward and accurate crosses, the Spaniard also has great defensive abilities.

Chico Flores - Swansea

Possibly the least known of this line-up. After signing for Swansea for just £2 million pounds, Chico has gone on to perform at a higher level than his transfer fee would suggest. Forming a great relationship with Ashley Williams at the heart of the Swansea defence, Chico is a solid Premier League centre-back.

Jose Enrique - Liverpool

Much like Azpilicueta, Enrique enjoys bombing down the flank and pushing his team up the pitch. Also possessing the ability to help his team out in defending, Enrique has made himself one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.

Michu - Swansea

Michu had a stunning first season with Swansea. Signed for a mere £2 million, many classified him as the best signing of last season. The 27-year-old scored in Swansea's first-ever League Cup final win and was also named the team's, as well as the supporters', player of the year.

Mikel Arteta - Arsenal

Brought in to fill the void left by the departure of Cesc Fabregas, Arteta has spent two seasons at Arsenal since his move from Everton and has made 63 appearances for the club. After the departure of Robin van Persie, Arteta was named Arsenal's vice captain and has continued to shine in the holding role for the Gunners.

Juan Mata - Chelsea

Chelsea's two time player of the season is a certainty for this Spanish Premier League side. Mata has great creativity, skills on the ball and is possibly the best Spaniard in the Premier League at the moment.

Santi Cazorla - Arsenal

Signed last summer, Cazorla had an impressive first season at Arsenal. Nominated for the PFA player of the season, like Mata, Cazorla was in the Premier League team of the season and helped Arsenal to a fourth place finish which now leads them into the Champions League group stages.

David Silva - Manchester City

The first of these Spanish midfielders to make the move to the Premier League, Silva has made 107 appearances for Manchester City over three seasons. With great ball control and vision, Silva sets his teammates up all over the pitch and scored Manchester City's first goal of the new season.

Roberto Soldado - Tottenham

Part of Tottenham's amazing transfer spree in preparation for the departure of Gareth Bale, Soldado has already scored two goals in his first two Premier League games - although both were converted from the penalty spot.

Fernando Torres - Chelsea

Despite not managing to replicate the formidable form he displayed at Liverpool since his £50 million move to Stamford Bridge, Torres remains a talented striker.

Notable Mentions: Nacho Monreal, Pablo Hernandez and Iago Aspas.
