Transfer Deadline Day is heating up with a number of deals already being completed and processed. According to BBC Sport, Stoke City have signed Austrian international forward Marko Arnautovic from German club Werder Bremen.

Arnautovic has penned a four-year contract at Stoke and arrives for a fee believed to be in the region of £2 million.

The 24-year-old has become new Stoke boss Mark Hughes' fourth summer signing, with Hughes saying on the club's official website: "Marko is a player we have been aware of for some time and I'm really pleased we have been able to add him to our squad.

"He has played at the highest level in Holland, Italy and Germany and is keen to make his mark in England with Stoke City."

Arnautovic will bolster the strike force currently at Hughes' disposal which includes Kenwyne Jones, Peter Crouch, Jonathan Walters and Cameron Jerome.

The Austrian can be deployed as a winger for Stoke which may be useful to due to their depth in the forward position. Stoke recently signed Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi on a season-long loan deal which adds depth to the club's wide options.
